This costume was made for my friend Manja. It actually has flowing sleeves that attaches to the shoulder straps and are obviously removable. Unfortunately I do not have a picture with the sleeves on. I also made her headdress. For the dress she wanted something modest and fairly plain. I would have liked to finish this off with embroidery.
This dress has undergone changes (a second dress was also made for it) as the years have gone by. It will have more changes this year, mainly a red piece of leather to be attached to the belt like structure. The back of the bodice is painted as-well-as the belt and the hem of the dress is embroidered. It now has a black silk skirt that goes under in case I have need of modesty.

These three costumes were designed for a potential client to choose from. Here husband wanted her to have garb like mine, so I told him I would design something similar. With embroidery and designs painted on them the cost of any one of these is $2,000.
