Welcome to my portfolio. As you can see there is a little of everything here. My name is Celeste Bivin. I have been an artist for over 30 years...I can't believe that I can actually say that! But it is true. I have an AA in Fashion Design and an AS in Multimedia. My passion is Art, in many forms.
I have always loved working with my hands. I started along my path as an artist from the 3rd grade. A girl in my class was a phenomenal artist and brought her drawings of horses to class. I loved, and still love, horses. From that moment I wanted to be an artist. I had no drawing ability, but I had determination. I taught myself to draw by tracing horses. My dad didn't think I could do it but was astonished when my determination bore fruit at age 11. He never stopped bragging on how I taught myself to draw.

That determination has pretty much defined my life. When people tell me I can't, I show them I can. And I don't stop till I do.
I have had many jobs – each one different. I have been a Deck Hand, Flag Person, Assist Fashion Designer, Publications Assistant, Graphic Designer and my last job Head of Publications/Editor/Art Director. Now I am half owner of the Inn of the Six-Toed Cat, a bed and breakfast in Allerton, Iowa. Evan so, I still do graphics for clients and sell my head dress designs. (contact me for a resume)
Through my whole life Art has been the steady constant. I love making beautiful things and making women feel beautiful through my clothing designs, costumes and head dresses. For me, nothing thrills me more than seeing my finished work, whether is graphics, clothing, headdresses, etc.
